Mary Ann Romero, Attorney at Law
Mary Ann Romero was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Growing up in a border town between
El Paso and Cd. Juarez, Mexico taught her about the unique needs of immigrants
in the United States. Her earliest experiences in helping immigrants comes
from within her own family by helping translate and fill out forms for
schools, banks, health care, etc. on a daily basis. Mary Ann always wanted
to make sure a person's right to receive the benefits they were seeking
was upheld, regardless of their race or social class. After her experiences
with immigration law in her law school clinic, she knew that she wanted
to be an immigration attorney, because she felt right at home helping
individuals who were just like the family she helped growing up.
